Meet Nancy Wiles: Founder and Expert Yoga Educator
Love and Light Yoga School’s 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher Training is proudly women-led by two accomplished experts in the field of yoga. One of the guiding leaders is Nancy Wiles, founder of the Yoga Education Institute—a registered yoga school (RYS) that offers a variety of teacher training programs including RYT 200, RYT 500, Children’s Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, as well as online continuing education programs. Nancy brings over 25 years of dedicated yoga practice and more than 15 years of experience training future yoga teachers.
In addition to her leadership at the Yoga Education Institute, Nancy plays an active role in managing and teaching wellness retreats and programs at the Four Seasons in Southern California. Her academic background combines education and exercise science, and she has devoted many years to developing and evaluating health and wellness programs in university and healthcare environments.
Nancy’s teaching approach is inspired by T. Krishnamacharya’s philosophy of tailoring yoga practice to each individual’s needs. She strives to help every student and trainee discover their personal way of practicing and sharing yoga, supporting them in uncovering their unique potential.
